Beth spent 5 years working in a variety of small business and administrative roles before committing a career in Accountancy. Graduating with distinction from QUT and developing a passion for public practice accounting, Beth started her career at a firm in Toowoomba. She then returned to Brisbane to gain some inner-city experience before starting her own practice in 2012.
In 2015 Beth met Luke who shared common values about business and how much potential there was in the accounting industry to have a different type of approach to running a public practice firm. In 2015 they joined forces and created Empire Accountants.
Beth’s passion for accounting has always been driven by the desire to help small business owners to navigate the complex world of accounting and tax. Historically, her role is focused on helping business owners navigate the challenges of growing their businesses, working closely with them to give them the information they need to make informed decisions and developing a specialist service area of looking after not for profit organisations.
In more recent years, Beth & Luke welcome their first son Joseph and over this time her focus has been on ensuring that the Empire team is happy and they have the resources & support they need to provide the highest quality level of services.
Beth is a Registered Tax Agent, member of CAANZ, and holds a Bachelor of Business and Management with distinction.
In Beth’s spare time (when she isn't now making the most of her time with her son) she enjoys hanging with Kate, food, cooking, dabbling in photography, puzzles, reading, the beach and LOVES going on adventures, experiencing new places and cats, she loves cats!
