Leonard has been with Empire Accountants since 2016 and prior to that worked for various mid-sized and micro accountancy practices providing strategic business planning and offering sound and practical advice to businesses in Brisbane.
Leonard graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business Majoring Professional Accounting and subsequently completed his Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accountancy. He is a fully qualified Charted Accountant with CA Australia & New Zealand.
His strong commitment to professional development and broadening his skills has also led him to complete his Diploma of Financial Planning and Chartered Tax Advisor Status with the Tax Institute of Australia.
Outside of work, Leonard is a qualified group fitness instructor teaching the LesMills program Body Attack. He is passionate about financial education and loves providing those ‘light bulb’ moments to clients when they just get it. For him, it is quite rewarding to see small business owners turn a spark from something they are passionate about into something they can share with other people.
