We have compiled a summary on what we know so far in relation to JobKeeper. Whilst the summary is countless pages long, we promise you, this is the short version!
Few important dates to note
> From 20 April 2020 – ATO Online Application Opens
> By 26 April 2020 – Must have completed the ATO Online Application to receive reimbursement in May for April payments
> From 4 May 2020 – Able to apply for JobKeeper payment through Portal
> 27 September 2020 – Last day of final JobKeeper fortnight
To register your interest in participating in the payment, please go to the ATO website.
For those who may not be aware, the ATO’s Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) will permanently close on 1 July 2026. From 1 October 2025, new registrations will no longer be accepted. This is a major change that affects small businesses across all industries currently using the SBSCH to pay their employees’ super.
